Ravenna, incendio in una distilleria di Faenza

(Adnkronos) – Incendio in una distilleria di Faenza. In fiamme 15 silos. Come fanno sapere gli stessi vigili del fuoco in un tweet, nessuna persona è rimasta coinvolta. Precauzionalmente è stata evacuata l'area circostante nel raggio di un chilometro dall'incendio, fanno sapere i vigili del fuoco al lavoro sul posto. Arpa Emilia Romagna è sul posto per i rilievi ambientali. "L'incendio di Faenza è stato circoscritto ma non ancora spento" ha detto in serata il prefetto di Ravenna Castrese De Rosa. "Continua l'opera di spegnimento dei vigili del fuoco e non è stato riscontrato nessun problema di inquinamento. I residenti stanno rientrando nelle abitazioni, mentre le aziende nell'area evacuata riprenderanno le attività domani". Ravello, precipita bus turistico: morto autista

(Adnkronos) – ​Un pullman turistico è precipitato ​da un tornante della strada che conduce a Ravello, in Costiera Amalfitana. Il conducente del bus è morto. L'autista, originario di Agerola, era l'unica persona a bordo del mezzo. Il mezzo ha sfondato il parapetto della strada ed è precipitato per una decina di metri, cadendo prima sul sottostante tratto della stessa strada e poi sfiorando un'abitazione. Milano, scontro tra bici e mezzo pesante: morto ciclista

(Adnkronos) – Un altro ciclista è morto a Milano, dopo essersi scontrato con un autoarticolato. L’incidente è avvenuto alle 10.40 all’angolo tra via Comasina e via Novate. Sul posto Polizia locale e 118, che ha trasportato il ciclista in codice rosso all’ospedale Niguarda, dove l’uomo è morto. A quanto si apprende, la vittima è un cittadino cinese di 55 anni. L’autista del bilico un italiano della stessa età, risultato negativo ai test per alcol e droga. Sia la bicicletta che il mezzo pesante stavano percorrendo via Comasina diretti verso il centro di Milano. Il ciclista circolava a destra del camion e – dai primi elementi raccolti dalla Polizia locale – probabilmente non stava utilizzando la pista ciclabile presente. Sembra che il mezzo pesante all’incrocio con il semaforo di via Novate abbia girato a destra, urtando con la parte anteriore del mezzo la bicicletta, trascinata per circa 300 metri. Grande abbuffata, un ormone ci dice quanto riusciamo a smaltirla

(Adnkronos) – La reazione a una 'grande abbuffata' ad alto contenuto di carboidrati non è la stessa per tutti. C'è chi riesce a smaltirla meglio di altri, e questo dipende in parte dal nostro profilo metabolico. Per capire se siamo tipi con un metabolismo più risparmiatore o dispendioso, che tendono cioè a bruciare più o meno carboidrati, c'è un'importante sentinella, l'ormone glp1. Un nuovo studio pubblicato su 'Obesity' e condotto dall'Università di Pisa presso l'ente di ricerca National Institutes of Health negli Stati Uniti ha indagato il ruolo di questo ormone, quantificando per la prima volta le variazioni di concentrazione nel sangue in risposta a una dieta ipercalorica ad alto contenuto di carboidrati.  La sperimentazione ha riguardato 69 soggetti che hanno ingerito circa 4mila kilocalorie (ossia il doppio rispetto alla dieta normocalorica) nell'arco di 24 ore e che sono stati quindi monitorati in una camera metabolica per misurare il dispendio energetico e la risposta termogenica alla dieta. Da una stima dai risultati è emerso che, a parità di carboidrati ingeriti, le calorie bruciate dall'ossidazione dei carboidrati possono variare fino a 500 kcal/giorno a seconda del metabolismo di ogni individuo. "Abbiamo scoperto che gli individui che sono riusciti a ossidare più carboidrati quando sottoposti ad una dieta ipercalorica ad alto contenuto di carboidrati erano anche quelli che sono riusciti ad aumentare maggiormente la concentrazione nel sangue dell'ormone glp1", spiega Paolo Piaggi, docente di bioingegneria al Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'informazione dell'Università di Pisa e autore senior dello studio.  L'ormone glp1, rilasciato nella circolazione sanguigna proprio in base a quanto noi mangiamo, stimola infatti il pancreas a produrre insulina: di conseguenza le cellule, in particolare quelle dei muscoli, riescono ad ossidare, cioè bruciare, più carboidrati. "Identificare l'ormone glp1 come biomarker del profilo metabolico – aggiunge Piaggi – ci avvicina sempre di più ad una medicina personalizzata e di precisione nell’ambito della ricerca sull’obesità, questo in prospettiva potrà semplificare la definizione dei profili metabolici, che potrà avvenire con un semplice esame del sangue, senza ricorrere come oggi, a procedure più complesse come quelle che vengono condotte all’interno di una camera metabolica". —cronacawebinfo@adnkronos.com (Web Info)

Firenze, tenta di violentare una ragazza in mezzo alla strada: arrestato 39enne

(Adnkronos) – Ferma una giovane donna, bloccando la sua auto, e cerca di violentarla prima nella vettura e poi in strada alla presenza dei parenti che erano arrivati in suo soccorso: solo l'intervento dei carabinieri ha impedito che lo stupro fosse portato a termine da un 39enne italiano, residente in provincia di Prato, che è stato arrestato.  Nel serata di sabato 6 maggio il 39enne a Calenzano (Firenze) ha fermato, con una scusa, una ragazza, residente in provincia di Firenze, che si stava recando a bordo della propria vettura a trovare i parenti. Impaurita anche dalla richiesta di salire sull'auto dell'uomo, la giovane donna ha tentato di allontanarsi ma il pratese l'ha raggiunta e con la propria auto le ha sbarrato la strada; poi ha aperto lo sportello dell'auto della ragazza, si è introdotto all'interno del veicolo e pronunciando frasi volgari e manifestando l'intenzione di avere un rapporto sessuale le ha mostrato anche i genitali. La donna è riusciva a scappare e a telefonare ai parenti che l'hanno raggiunta sul posto. L'uomo incurante della presenza di altre persone ha bloccato la ragazza, l'ha fatta cadere per terra e si è messo sopra di lei, con l'intenzione di compiere un rapporto sessuale. Solo il tempestivo intervento della pattuglia dei carabinieri di Campi Bisenzio, allertati dal 112, è riuscito ad evitare che la situazione degenerasse ulteriormente. E' stato richiesto l'intervento dei sanitari del 118 che hanno trasportato la giovane vittima, visibilmente scossa, al pronto soccorso, da dove poi è stata dimessa con una prognosi di tre giorni per trauma cranico lieve ed abrasione del ginocchio destro.  Il 39enne è stato bloccato, portato in caserma e arrestato per il reato di violenza sessuale.
